A puppy’s visit to Telluride

Remember crazy Zoey, the yellow lab from earlier this summer?  Well, Zoey’s “Grandparents” were so smitten with Zoey, when they found out that there was going to be a repeat breeding, they just had to have a pup.  So along came Gemma….only in Telluride for a few weeks before driving a long long way to Tennessee!  At just 7 weeks old, our first shoot was only about a half hour.  Gemma was a bit unsure at times, and I didn’t want to overwhelm her.

I hope you enjoyed your time in Telluride, Gemma…. and I sure hope you come back to visit sometime.

This was her first time in water, and she wasn’t so sure about the river.  She is capable of the most pathetic looks with those big brown eyes!

I’m telling you, she made me feel horrible with the looks she was giving me!

Here she is, happy to be on land again…

I have no doubt she will be a master manipulator.  She refused to look at me after making her go in the river, but got over it quickly and decided the flowers might be edible!

Here she is at 9 weeks!  Quite a bit more confident, and not so rolly polly!

Stacey, I am so glad I got to capture a little bit of Gemma since her mom and dad were not able to meet her for a few weeks.  I hope they enjoyed these photos of their precious pup!!   As usual, leaving you with a few beauty shots (hey, even puppies get beauty shots)!  I don’t think puppies get much cuter than this.

Carolyn She is so so cute. Can’t stand it. Great shots. I especially like the first 9 week old one with the mountain behind her.

Connie Loved the photo’s of Gemma…shows her feisty personality, what great photography!

Lynda She is adorable. 7 weeks is so young to be away from the family, it is no wonder she was intimidated. It is interesting to see the difference in the shots 2 weeks later when she is getting ready to take on the world. I’m sure her new parents will adore her.

Deb completely unbearable! totally darling. 🙂 great job on this session.

Heidi Cuteness overload!!!! What a great series – her personality shines thru in every photo!

Wendy LOVE the pictures with the yellow lab – especially the one where she looks like she is poking him/her!

Kay Fantastic pictures of our Gemma. You are so talented! She is going to miss her best friend Zoey, but so will we. Thanks.

Ruth Arghh, ADORABLE!!! I love the ones with all the water droplet bokeh! Great job, puppies can be really challenging.

Anda Sweet little nugget of blackness and curiosity – you captured her fascination and excitement of discovering water and the great outdoors – hope to get to see more pictures of her growing up!

Leanne OMG, that second from last? To die for! What a cute puppy!

alexa Ohmigoodness what a little cutie patootie! 🙂 The faces she made when eating that grass are just adorable!! How do you get such cute puppy clients?! 😉

Cathy Lynch These are just too cute!! Next to Flat-Coats nothing cuter than a Lab puppy!

Alley Woohoo cute my favorite is the 8th 9th picture
