More of my Telluride dog – sorry folks!

Well, this is not what I had planned at all.  But due to some severe dental issues, I had to cancel all of my sessions that I had scheduled in June.  We tried to reschedule, but I had complications after my complications, so….it was just a no-go.   Can I tell you how much I hate teeth?   And how much I love painkillers when all I can eat is smoothies, my jaw is throbbing, and my whole body hurts from being so tense in the chair?   And it still isn’t fully healed.  Anyway, my lesson….take very very good care of your teeth and see the dentist often, and ask questions if they are going to do any procedure, and ask lots of them to the point of being annoying.  Okay, enough medical advice for now.

I’m leaving for a vacation (wooohoooo!) so I won’t have any sessions in July, since I don’t get back until August.   Rather than leave my blog empty that long, I thought I would post Blue’s exciting adventures from the spring.   We started out in Arizona….where he hates it except on the days I take him to Lake Pleasant!  Then he is one happy boy.

We even broke out a new bumper instead of using his orange training bumper for extra excitement!

It got blazing hot much too fast and we actually left Arizona earlier than planned, but the weather in Arizona tends to reflect the weather in Telluride, so May was nice and warm here already.    And relaxing on the deck didn’t mean third degree burns.

Although, sometimes the lounge chair is better.

And he just wouldn’t be Blue if he didn’t do weird things like squish himself into tiny spots like he was a Yorkie.  Yes, that looks VERY comfortable, Blue.

After the snow melts, tennis balls and all sorts of random objects are uncovered along sidewalks, in yards, the alley…and Blue finds as many as he can.  He came home with a scarf once, a hat, several gloves….all thrown away once he proudly carried them home of course.  But here is a small collection of balls (one was missing….he was sneaky, got it into the house and I took the gross thing from him).

But lets get down to the good stuff.  The lake.  The lake was finally warm enough to swim in!

Take off!!!!
AND……ooopsie.   Not ALL landings can be graceful.  Cut the boy some slack.

To make up for that embarrassing moment, I must end with a beauty shot.   With luck, the next entry will be an actual client, lets hope for good health!  Until then, have fun with your dogs!
