After a slow start to the season, we had a three day storm and were blessed with two feet of snow in town. I immediately contacted Maggie, since we had been waiting for this moment (everyone in town was, quite frankly). You might recognize Otis, a handsome German Wire-haired Pointer rescue. He already had a fall session, and is on the blog. I’ve realized after this session that Otis is instantly camouflaged into any background. Maybe we need to try summer???
Of course he was pointing right on the first shot. He may be a rescue, but all instincts are intact.
Otis is a bit of a wild man. He didn’t quite realize how deep the snow was though…..
It’s okay Otis, you have nothing to prove….take a few breaths. 🙂
and then pretend you don’t really need a rest, you actually wanted to chew on the tree branches!
Hmmmm. Once again, he overestimates his special dog powers, and thinks he can leap back to his owner with grace.
OH! You were doing soooo good. We couldn’t help but laugh, I swear all the sporting breeds are just so goofy.
After that embarrassment, Otis decides he might play a game of hide and seek with Maggie, as she tries to lure him back into the snow to play. He’s not having any more of that, and tells her so!
What a sass! Otie is just a big goofball, and we had a lot of fun during this short session. Otis is a wild dog at heart though, and this shot proves it. He runs with what I call the crazy face. You big show off, Otis! Thanks for the morning entertainment, and maybe I will see you this summer!
