Summer has arrived in Telluride!

Well, it isn’t officially summer, but it sure feels like it, and with the green appearing more and more every day, I wanted to post a quick reminder to book your session soon!  I have limited availability this summer, and if you are thinking about booking a shoot, I don’t want you to be disappointed.  I have had many inquiries in the last few weeks, and fall is almost entirely booked up, as is June.  I hate saying no!  Especially to people that mentioned it 6 months ago but never put down a deposit.  This won’t be a very wordy post, but just some of my favorite images of summer…..ummmm….nothing better to start with than my own crazy dog, right?

But I just did an entire post on Blue, so enough hogging the limelight.   How about….Zoey!

And it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t include her cover photo from Just Labs magazine, now would it?  It’s only fitting, since Zoey was by far one of my favorite sessions….she was just a year old, crazy, silly, but gorgeous.  Plus…blond.  Blonds are easier to photograph, didn’t you know?   🙂

Then there is Gemma….at 7 weeks old Gemma’s entire session required me to be on my stomach.  God only knows what kind of bugs were on me.  And everyone knows how I feel about that.

And Macy, cutest Sheltie on earth….

Sardou, another Flat-coat and Blue’s older girlfriend at the time….biggest flirt I have ever met in my whole life.

Zeek, sweet sweet boy and Blue’s first playmate, and boy they were ROUDY.

Nitro….crazy wild puppy!  Living up to his name, I suppose!  But a blast to photograph.  Puppies are so fun.

Walter and George….best of friends and another favorite session to be able to watch them interact.

And, um… get plenty dirty.

Aretha!  Doesn’t the name say it all?

Duke and Dutchess…almost impossible in photos to tell apart, their markings were so similar!

And finally, Scout and Jem, two more Flatcoats who visit every summer from Chicago.

I apologize in advance if I left anyone from previous summer sessions out of this blog entry!  I just grabbed a few to give clients an idea of what to expect….there aren’t any two that are alike, I can tell you that.

Sadly, from this group, we have lost Macy, Sardou, and most recently Zeek, but I feel privileged to have photographed all of them.  All were deeply loved, and are deeply missed, and I hope I gave their owners memories to cherish.
