That you can count on. We have seasons for puppies, one person gets one, and then the rest of Telluride is filled with puppies. Especially Lab puppies! Kaiser is 7 months old and I wish I had the chance to shoot him when he was younger. He is so full of it, I can’t imagine what fun we would have had. We rescheduled this shoot three times due to the dark and gloomy weather, but finally gave up and just did the session in the clouds that have been hanging over Telluride for weeks.
This is the first shot I took….a little excited, you think?
That enthusiasm continued through the entire shoot….

He also knows how to make some really fun faces when running at warp speed.
He is a gorgeous dark brown chocolate, nearly black. I wish I had some sun to show off his stunning coat, but maybe this summer when he is all grown up we will have better luck with the weather.
Most of all, this boy loves his tennis ball. We lost one in the snow, but he’ll learn how to use his hunting dog nose soon!
As always, gotta end with a beauty shot, although Kaiser was much better at the crazy maniac puppy shots (right up my alley, by the way). Thanks Carolyn for such a good time – he’s a pistol!!
