I’m Jennifer, the owner of Mountain Tails, a dog boutique in Telluride, Colorado. I became obsessed with photography when my last dog was diagnosed with cancer. The realization that I had very few photos of him prompted me to go out and purchase my first real camera, and when I got my next dog, I immediately began to document his life in photos, determined not to make the same mistake again. Now I just can’t stop photographing dogs.
I love shooting outdoors, and who can blame me with our beautiful surroundings? I shoot only in natural light, and if you are looking for posed studio shots, I’m not the right photographer for you. I’m happy to capture candid moments between you (or your kids) and your dog, and my shoots involve a lot of play and improvisation. It all depends on what the dogs decide to do, as I try to capture their unique personalities. And one thing I should mention….I LOVE shooting action and dogs in play mode. Do you have a wild and crazy dog? I’m the photographer for you. Take a look around, and if you like what you see, check out the information on booking a session. Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions or special requests.
